Diversity

Young and senior staff

  • Young people: a partnership is being developed with training institution INFA in order to have more trainee agents.
  • Senior citizens: work is underway to hire more people aged 50 and over.


Disability employment

Recruiters & managers-recruiters: anti-discrimination and diversity training via awareness-raising events such as panel discussions organised by partner associations; online e-learning courses offered by the French Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination Commission (HALDE); an internal training programme.

Managers-mentors: mentors trained in delivering induction training to disabled employees (THANDEM programme).

The building has disabled access and facilities.

Career development and training

  • Training investment: training represented 5.30% of the payroll in 2009; induction training lasts for up to 5 weeks.
  • Annual Appraisal Interviews allow managers to review progress made by each employee, identify areas for improvement and set goals for the coming year. ‘People reviews’ promote internal mobility.
  • Skills Recognition (VAE): an acknowledgement of the skills employees have learned from work. Career Development Plan: employees can ask for a career action plan after 5 years of service.
  • Personalised training: DIF scheme (Individual Right to Training).
