Mathias Crouzet, Customer Care Coordinator for Air FranceNationality: French Was this internship with BlueLink International CZ your first real professional experience? No, as a business school student I had to do several internships before. One of them was also a job in a Contact Center. I was working for French insurance company and I was in charge of helping clients having issues with their cars. It was quit hard job because they where usually stressed and having really hard problems. I also had really different positions in marketing or sales, but the experience in BlueLink was my first international one. Why did you decide to come to Prague and what did you think of the city?I had the chance to spend a semester in Prague Economical University last year. Thanks to this experience I was able to discover the city of Prague and the kindness of Czech people. I was surprised by the quality of life I had in Czech Republic and really wanted to come again. In the heart of Europe, Prague is a wonderful city: Really amazing views everywhere, a lot of nice historical sites and of course a lot of great places to go out in the evening. It’s also a really clean and safe city where everybody can feel nice. What is the area of your academic studies? After a general business diploma (DUT) I decided to start studying international management in ISEG (business school) in France. My fields of studies are international business, economics, management and human resources. When you started to look for an internship, what were you looking for?I was looking for an internship in Prague offering me new challenge: Being part of an international team and working on a customer oriented position. I was also looking for something allowing me to improve my English level. Finally I was also looking for a position flexible enough for me to organize my time how I wanted: being able to enjoy Prague during different time (daily and nightly) Did you know what the job here with BlueLink International CZ consisted of?I knew what the job was about but I didn’t know the conditions of the job itself, and I was really surprised (on a positive way). The international working environment is stimulating (I found again the kind of environment I had when I was Erasmus student). I was also pleased about the missions given to me and by the fact that I got more responsibility after some time. Did you feel a language skill improvement because you are using other languages?Speaking English the whole day (probably 60% of my working time) helped me to improve my accent and my vocabulary. I my case the hardest thing was that I had to deal with English accents from all over the world. How was your evolution during your BLICZ experience? After the initial period, I got more responsibilities. I was associated to the training of newcomers by doing some presentation about BlueLink internal procedures. At the end, I received an opportunity to continue my BlueLink Experience working in the Paris office as part of the Marketing/Sales Department and I am absolutely looking forward for it. |
