Larissa F., Customer Advisor in Ivry-sur-Seine, formerly Team Coordinator in Prague

1/ Larissa, you joined Team Trackers in Prague to live your first international experience. What motivated you?

I simply wanted to gain professional experience outside France. I like to meet new cultures. Team Trackers is a company of young and dynamic teams with a large range of different nationalities.

A few bonuses: Team Trackers offers free language courses to its staff. Moreover, the company is situated in the very heart of Prague, which is, culturally, a goldmine in all respects.

2/ In Prague, how did your integration go? What were your missions? What was your daily routine, as a young French person in the Czech Republic?

In the Czech Republic, I was surprised by the practical side of administrative formalities, regardless of what you do: open a bank account, seek an apartment… Within the company, Team Trackers takes care to organize meetings unrelated to work (called “Team building”) so we can get to know each other and knit the team together. All this creates fertile soil for quick integration.

My missions mainly concerned informing customers on products of the Accor group, advising them according to their needs and guiding them towards Internet services. In the Czech Republic, I had a rather regular schedule. At lunch time, as Team Trackers is in the centre of Prague, I would go for walks. Prague is an open-air museum - there are always things to see. After a day of work and when on holiday, I took Czech lessons. I also remained in touch with French culture, because within a stone’s throw of the company is the French Institute of Prague. Whenever I had two days off, I jumped at the chance to explore new cities.

3/ What did your experience with Team Trackers bring you? Would you recommend it to visitors of the site?

Before Team Trackers, I used to move from job to job, so I consider it my first genuine work experience. I acquired knowledge, developed my social and organizational skills. It also made me aware of my capacity to easily adapt to a new environment. I can’t but recommend this experience to anyone, it gives you so much.
