BlueLink is participating in the fight against COVID-19 alongside its client Air France-KLM Martinair Cargo
3 May 2021Since February 2021, a dedicated BlueLink team has been answering the airline’s clients who have appointed it to transport COVID-19 vaccines. Available 24/7, this service is the first point of contact for any request linked to cargo transportation.
To provide the best possible service for these essential shipments, Air France-KLM Martinair Cargo has set up this “COVID client” service centre dedicated to managing all Covid-19 vaccine shipments. Following a successful pilot trial period in a number of chosen countries, available 24/7, this new service is now provided worldwide.
Furthermore, the Customized COVID Vaccines solution was launched to ensure that the Covid-19 vaccines receive the special attention that they require. Available for all temperature ranges and all types of containers, it offers a variety of premium features such as top priority on board, a dedicated 24/7 service, and specific security measures and tracking.
In recent months, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has successfully transported millions of doses of Covid-19 vaccines, thus bringing hope to many destinations around the world. In particular, to various countries in South America and in Africa.
The UNICEF Humanitarian Airfreight Initiative is now fully launched: AFKLM and its partners, such as BlueLink, are committed and proud to put their experience and know-how behind this crucial task.
